This isn’t a typical EA/PA role that may focus on travel/diary management, it is much more than that. We are looking for someone who is very capable at representing the CEO with the team, handling preparation of documents, organisation of projects, managing their advisers and overseeing many of their corporate administrative requirements (here and overseas). There could potentially even be some travel (although that’s neither essential nor certain).
The organisation is positioned within the natural resources sector. They focus on two businesses: one on Australian gold and the other US helium. These are fast moving businesses, and the CEO is looking for an individual to help him oversee the Australian and US teams (and there are a few people in the UK too).
You will be supporting teams of Geologists, Site and Project Managers and Directors across both locations and the UK. The teams in these locations are very respectful of the fact they are working within different time zones, and their culture is hardworking, collaborative and friendly.
They are very project oriented and can be fast moving at times and the CEO is looking for an individual who can thrive in such conditions. He is also looking for some working flexibility should the need arise to deal with the international team out with UK working hours. In return he offers flexibility around the role.
The CEO is very adaptable to your UK working schedule. Because he travels a lot the ideal candidate would need to have a presence in the Perth office a min of two days a week or more, the rest can be worked from home, and he offers flexibility regarding start / finish times whilst working. This allows you to be visible from the outset and very much become part of the team.
The IT systems they use are Microsoft Office, The Cloud, Google Meet and Xero and QuickBooks. Share options are available to too.
