My client is a global leader in livestock handling and animal management systems, trusted by farmers around the world. Family owned, innovation-led and growing fast across the UK, they design and manufacture equipment that makes farming safer, faster and more efficient.
This role involves getting their range of equipment unloaded from containers, assembled, and ready for dispatch to their customers. This is a dynamic operations role so expect a new challenge each day and be ready to juggle tasks and adapt. My client has built a foundation of success based on hard work and are looking for someone who reflects this grit, drive, and energy.
Key responsibilities:- Prepare and assemble the equipment for sale
- Unloading containers
- General warehouse duties including daily dispatch if required
- Assisting inventory management and stock takes
- Assist with product repairs as required
- Assist with truck loading
- Contribute to the overall company culture by living our values
- Experience in similar assembly or ‘hands on’ roles
- A mechanical aptitude and basic engineering skills
- A keen interest in the agricultural industry
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- A forklift and car license
- Attention to detail and quality
- Good IT skills
- Be physically fit and able to lift their products safely
- Confidence when working under pressure with a positive, can-do attitude
