Stanford Real Estate Partners are looking for a proactive Property Accountant who will support the Finance Controller across the financial operations of a property company delivering a major real estate development project. This is a hands-on role focused on financial tracking, cashflow monitoring, funding coordination, and reporting support. You will work closely with internal teams, lenders, investors, and external advisors to ensure accurate reporting and smooth execution of key financial processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a Property Accountant looking to build hands-on experience across real estate finance within a large-scale development project.
Salary offered is £60k + bonus + bens + hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities- Support cash management and treasury, including payments and bank administration.
- Monitor and update short-term cashflow forecasts.
- Track budgets and assist with variance analysis.
- Support lender reporting and maintain covenant trackers.
- Assist with debt and equity drawdowns, including coordination with lenders and investors.
- Prepare data and templates for investor reporting.
- Support audit, tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ICAS with experience in real estate finance, project finance, or accounting (real assets exposure preferred).
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
- Experience with cashflow tracking, treasury support, and reporting.
- Understanding of PropCo structures and corporate administration.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Confident working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
