Weare looking to appoint a teaching assistant who:
- Is confident to superviseand provide particular support for pupils, including those with specialneeds, ensuring their safety, help with personal care and access tolearning activities
- Can usestrategies and resources, in liaison with the teacher, to support pupilsto achieve learning goals
- Can undertakestructured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjustingactivities according to pupil responses
- Hasa secure knowledge of a range of behaviour management strategies to ensureour pupils have consistent boundaries
- Can provide thenecessary pastoral care to enable children to feel secure and happy
- Can administerroutine tests and undertake routine marking of pupils’ work
- Can provideclerical/admin. support e.g. photocopying, typing, filing, administercoursework etc.
- Lovestheir job, showing passion and taking a pride in everything that theydo
- Workswell in a team, enjoying learning and collaborating with others to promoteexcellence throughout the whole school as well as in their ownclassroom
- Ismotivated to do their very best
- Isable to maintain good, professional relationships with parents andmulti-agency networks to enable every child to be the best they can
- Iscommitted to ensuring that excellence, inclusion and challenge are at theheart of everything we do.
