My client is a tech-driven hedge fund with $10bn+ under management, leveraging a diversified portfolio of systematic and quantitative strategies to deliver high-quality, uncorrelated returns.

The team builds software that enhances the core data and trading technology platform.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing scalable, production-grade backend applications in Python and frontend applications in React.
  • Designing and maintaining data-driven products, including machine learning frameworks, data science tools, and microservices.
  • Streaming trade data from market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Fidessa).
  • Working directly with traders and quant teams to understand exposure, P&L, and improve capital efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, maintainable software in modern Python for business-critical applications.
  • Build and support full-stack applications with Python and React.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues to deliver innovative solutions.
Requirements:
  • BSc in Computer Science.
  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or React.
  • Experience with relational databases and document stores.
