A highly successful asset management firm is searching for a Senior Front Office Application Support Engineer to join their team. This hire will work directly with traders to offer support across their trading stack, whilst also driving automation and monitoring across the platform and facilitating their migration to Azure Kubernetes.
Role Details:
- Provide support to their front office applications including trade execution, pricing, trade capture, and risk
- Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no 2 days are the same
- Support a mixture of in-house built and third party applications across a Windows and Cloud environment
- Engage in ongoing project work to facilitate an on-going migration to Azure Kubernetes
- Proactively identify opportunities for Python/PowerShell automation
- Configure monitoring and alerting across the application estate
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes containers and Azure ServiceBus
- Willingness to upskill this hire on any missing unessential technical skillsets with a combination of on the job learning and dedicated industry training courses
- Strongly compensated on-call rota (1 in every 4 weeks)
