One of the world's leading quantitative trading firms is searching for a Security Engineer to build secure architectural principles into their environment as they proactively scale and modernise their applications and infrastructure. You will play a decisive role in driving the firm's security strategy, owning end to end development from architectural design through to implementation.

Role Details:

  • Redesign security across their applications and colocation infrastructure to drive improvements to security and resilience.
  • Build and scale secure and efficient systems.
  • Improve infrastructure security by setting up automated firewall policies, securing logs and key materials, and hardening containers and servers.
  • Improve visibility and security controls via enhanced auditing while continuing to maintain platform performance.
  • Implement a Zero-Trust Architecture - Building identity into system communications and ensuring host/service verification.
  • Use automation to track and reduce risks.
  • Drive security strategy in line with the following principles - Visibility, Simplicity, Isolation, Fault Tolerance, and Retaining Platform Speed.
