I am partnered with a leading quantitative hedge fund who are seeking a mid-senior level Network Security Engineer. You will support the day-to-day protection and operational security of the firm’s network perimeter with a focus on continuous monitoring, incident handling, and maintaining strong firewall security controls. You will liaise closely with Security and Infrastructure stakeholders to investigate events, manage escalations, and keep security operations reliable across a 24/7 environment.

Requirements:

  • 3–8 years’ experience in Network Security Operations
  • Educated to Bachelor’s degree level
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S)
  • Experience operating firewalls
  • Experience in network security with hands-on monitoring
  • Familiarity with SIEM platforms or other similar network monitoring, alerting systems
