A high-growth systematic trading firm is looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer to help scale and modernise their infrastructure. You’ll play a critical role in designing and implementing advanced networking solutions across LAN, WAN, Data Centre, Colo, Campus, and Cloud environments. Upcoming project work includes the likes of EVPN and VxLAN implementation in conjunction with a modernised architectural design, and also multiple international data centre builds. This hire will also be responsible for proactively finding opportunities for network automation, improving the likes of monitoring capabilities.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of hands‑on network engineering experience with solid project execution examples
  • Deep expertise in routing (OSPF, BGP, EVPN) and switching (preferably VxLAN/VLAN)
  • Experience in multi‑tenanted environments
  • Preference for Arista; Cisco also considered
  • CCIE or CCNP certified
  • Cloud networking experience (ideally AWS or GCP)
  • Monitoring/Orchestration tooling experience (LANZ, Sflow, Kibana, Prometheus, CVP, Elastic, Grafana)
  • Network diagnostic/performance tooling experience (netcat, tcptrace, wireshark, etc)
  • Understanding of network security concepts: AAA (Radius/TACACS), device hardening, control plane protection
  • Exposure to fast‑paced industries — ideally trading, finance, or high‑performance tech
