A leading global hedge fund is seeking a Trading Systems Engineer to support and evolve high-performance, low-latency trading infrastructure in London. This role focuses on building and maintaining highly available systems that power real-time market data and execution across asset classes. You’ll work across infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments, partnering closely with global teams in a fast-paced, performance-critical setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Support and optimise trading systems and low-latency infrastructure.
- Manage market data networks, including multicast environments.
- Work across Linux, on-prem, and AWS-based systems.
- Build and automate infrastructure using Terraform, Python, and Kubernetes.
- Improve monitoring, performance, and system reliability.
What You Bring:
- 8+ years experience supporting trading systems (exchange, fund, asset manager or low latency banking environment).
- DevOps/Platform, SRE &/or Linux Systems Engineering backgrounds preferred.
- Strong Linux and networking knowledge (multicast preferred).
- Hands-on with AWS, Python, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Experience in high-availability, performance-sensitive environments.
