A Boutique Multi-Strat Hedge Fund is looking for an Engineer to join a brand-new Applied AI team. This group is spearheading AI development and tooling across the entire business, predominantly focusing on embedding with the Front-Office to build brand new AI tooling and systems to benefit Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Researchers.
This is a hands-on role offering significant technical influence and the opportunity to shape the firm’s long-term AI strategy within a fast-paced, high-impact investment environment. Everything in this team is greenfield, leveraging Python alongside bleeding-edge and OpenSource GenAI technologies, being involved in technical strategy, from inception right through to production.
Required:
- 1-3 years Python development experience in a financial environment
- MSc in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science
- Experience with building and developing AI systems or features in a Financial Environment
- Able to work in a modern software engineering environment, using Agile and DevOps methodologies and tools including Scrum, git, and CI/CD
