A Linux Specialist is sought to join a technology-driven investment firm. You will design, build, and maintain compute and storage services supporting rapid growth across global offices.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage petabyte-scale distributed storage systems and compute environments
- Automate infrastructure through standardization, testing, and monitoring
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux systems (RHEL-based) and hardware
- Develop tools and automation to scale operations efficiently
- Collaborate globally on infrastructure development and capacity planning
What We Need:
- 5+ years Linux administration and infrastructure experience
- Strong Python programming skills (or Go/Rust)
- Experience with configuration management (Chef/Ansible)
- Distributed storage expertise (NFS, GPFS, WEKA)
- Cloud platform experience (AWS/GCP)
- Observability tools knowledge (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Modern development practices (version control, CI/CD, agile)
- Engineering degree preferred
- Excellent communication skills
