A Linux Specialist is sought to join a technology-driven investment firm. You will design, build, and maintain compute and storage services supporting rapid growth across global offices.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage petabyte-scale distributed storage systems and compute environments
  • Automate infrastructure through standardization, testing, and monitoring
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux systems (RHEL-based) and hardware
  • Develop tools and automation to scale operations efficiently
  • Collaborate globally on infrastructure development and capacity planning

What We Need:

  • 5+ years Linux administration and infrastructure experience
  • Strong Python programming skills (or Go/Rust)
  • Experience with configuration management (Chef/Ansible)
  • Distributed storage expertise (NFS, GPFS, WEKA)
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS/GCP)
  • Observability tools knowledge (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
  • Modern development practices (version control, CI/CD, agile)
  • Engineering degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Financial Services experience - Investment Banking or Hedge Fund preferred
