A leading global quantitative investment firm is seeking a Head of Security Engineering to drive security strategy, scale capabilities, and lead global programmes across a high-performance technology environment.

You will lead the Security Engineering function, defining strategy and building capabilities across identity, endpoint, data, infrastructure, vulnerability, and physical security. Working closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, Risk, and Compliance, you\’ll ensure secure, reliable operations across global offices.

What You\’ll Do

• Set and execute a multi-year Security Engineering strategy.
• Build and develop a high-performing security engineering team.
• Embed security into software and platform delivery using automation and policy-as-code.
• Oversee identity, endpoint, server, and data security controls.
• Lead global security programmes with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and govern major security initiatives.
• Manage vendors and evaluate build-vs-buy decisions.

What You Bring

• 10+ years in security, including 5+ years leading managers/teams.
• Experience scaling security functions across regions.
• Strong senior stakeholder influence and risk-to-business translation.
• Proven delivery of multi-region, multi-team programmes.
• Broad expertise across identity, endpoint, data, infrastructure, vulnerability, and physical security.
