FPGA DevOps Engineer β Leading Systematic Trading Firm | Up to Β£300k TC
A high-performing and technology-led systematic trading firm are searching for a DevOps Engineer with FPGA expertise to join their expanding London engineering hub. This role will focus on building the tooling, automation, and infrastructure that support the development of world-class FPGA hardware execution platforms, forming a key part of the firmβs next phase of trading expansion.
Role:
- Develop and enhance DevOps tooling to accelerate the build and deployment of FPGA platforms
- Drive automation across environments, leveraging scripting (Python/Bash) and systems programming (C/C++)
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) and containerisation (Docker)
- Implement and refine monitoring frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Elastic Search
- Improve build/test automation to streamline FPGA development workflows
- Collaborate directly with world-class technologists in a flat, highly technical structure

Requirements:
- FPGA experience (must-have)
- Strong systems programming (C/C++ preferred)
- Scripting expertise (Python and/or Bash)
- SQL proficiency
- Experience designing/building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
- Containerisation experience (Docker preferred)
- Cloud infrastructure exposure (AWS preferred)
- Monitoring tooling experience (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Elastic Search)
