This is a fixed-term contract for a highly experienced professional to transform and standardise the Company's software deployment strategy. Our client offers a range of software solutions designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of radiation therapy and oncology treatment.
Today, they deploy their software via various methods, offering on-premise and cloud-based solutions. Their approach to deploying and upgrading software is inconsistent, and for some of their products, it can be somewhat cumbersome, slow and prone to human error. This is why they are seeking a Global Project Leader to engage with professionals who have extensive experience in deploying enterprise software into clinical environments, and their customers who have purchased the software - cancer hospitals all around the world!
Your role will be to evaluate their current approach and bring proposals for a future state where software deployment is simplified, consistent and performed in accelerated timelines that delight customers.
The engagement expectations and requirements:
- A fixed-term contract with a highly experienced professional to transform and standardise the software deployment strategy.
- Work with key stakeholders across their organisation to evaluate the current deployment approach across the software portfolio with a priority focus on certain defined solutions.
- Using best practice industry standards, make recommendations on how to evolve their product deployment strategy and processes to deploy software into clinical environments in a simplified, efficient and consistent manner with short-term quick wins and longer-term transformational changes.
- Relevant experience with enterprise software deployments such as SAP, Oracle or EMRs such as EPIC, Cerner etc.
- Expertise in taking enterprise software payloads from on-premises to public cloud platforms.
- Act as a consultant to their engineering teams to advise on and support enterprise software deployment improvements.
- The individual must be able to travel to various office locations, including London – UK, San Jose – USA and Shanghai – China.
