Salary: £28,000

Contract type: Permanent

Working hours: Full Time (37.5 hrs pw)

Location: Between Fylde, Wyre, Lancaster & Preston

The Triage Officer supports the successful delivery of the Connect to Work Programme by acting as the first point of contact for enquiries and referrals and coordinating the triage of Expressions of Interest. The role ensures eligibility and suitability criteria are applied consistently, referrals are processed accurately and within agreed timescales, and high standards of quality assurance and administration are maintained.

What you'll do:

  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries to the Connect to Work Programme, providing accurate information, guidance, and support to referrers, partners, and prospective participants.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the eligibility and suitability requirements of the Connect to Work Programme, ensuring updates are identified, communicated, and reflected in programme materials and application forms.
  • Oversee the processing of Expressions of Interest (EOIs), including direct and third-party referrals, ensuring applications are processed efficiently, within specified timescales, and in accordance with programme guidance.
  • Support the development and maintenance of a structured approach to managing Expressions of Interest to make informed recommendations for participant engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on CRM, PRaP, and other management information systems, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with programme requirements.
  • Prepare analysis, performance reports, and presentations relating to the triage service, providing recommendations to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

What you'll need:

  • Level 2 English and Maths as a minimum.
  • Educated to A-level standard or equivalent Level 3 qualification.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Local Labour Market.
  • Knowledge of DWP and SFA contracts.
  • Overseas equivalent qualifications will be accepted.
