This role is a core business activity within the company, involving various tasks primarily related to Gas Turbine Engine Repair and Overhaul. A fully trained Engine Fitter performs disassembly, assembly, inspection, balancing, airflow, and testing of Gas Turbine Engines according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with company policies, health and safety procedures, quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and industry regulations.
- Raise Non-conformance reports when necessary.
- Understand product documentation such as AD’s, SB’s, CEB’s, and SIL’s (training provided).
- Conduct detailed visual and dimensional inspections of parts as specified in manuals and instructions.
- Complete all relevant documentation accurately.
- Disassemble engines following manufacturer instructions.
- Inspect and detail examine engine parts.
- Perform borescope inspections on engines.
- Balance rotating components.
- Assemble engines, modules, and sub-assemblies.
- Conduct flow tests on components and assemblies.
- Test engines and their components.
- Prepare engines for dispatch.
- Adhere to Quality, Safety, Environmental Management Systems, and all related business manuals.

- Knowledge of engine manuals, overhaul procedures, and service bulletins (training provided).
