This role is a key part of our core business activities, involving various tasks primarily within the Engine Shop and Test Cell. Most activities fall under Gas Turbine Engine Repair and Overhaul. A fully trained Engine Fitter can perform tasks related to disassembly, assembly, inspection, balancing, airflow, and testing of Gas Turbine Engines, following manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with company policies, health and safety standards, quality procedures, manufacturer and customer specifications, and industry regulations.
- Raise Non-conformance reports when necessary.
- Understand product documentation such as ADs, SBs, CEBs, and SILs (training provided).
- Conduct detailed visual and dimensional inspections of parts as specified in manuals, DWIs, or ERIs.
- Complete all necessary documentation related to work performed.
- Disassemble engines following manufacturer instructions.
- Visually examine and perform detailed inspections of engine parts.
- Perform borescope inspections on engines.
- Balance rotating components.
- Assemble engines, modules, and sub-assemblies.
- Conduct flow tests on components and assemblies.
- Test engines and their components.
- Prepare engines for dispatch.
- Adhere to our QMS, SMS, EMS, and all related business manuals.

- Knowledge of engine publications, manuals, parts catalogues, and service bulletins (training provided).
