Responsibilities

  • Daily maintenance test flying of all marks of UK Chinook;
  • To ensure the product delivered is to the required quality standard, compliant to internal and external regulatory requirements;
  • To ensure that all regulatory and quality standards are met in accordance with company, customer and MAA requirements;
  • To initiate, lead and/or support Continuous Improvement initiatives ensuring that best practice methods are adopted / utilised where appropriate, to meet the needs of the business;
  • To work effectively with other company departments in a co-operative and collaborative fashion, to meet the needs of the business;
  • Ensure that company health, safety and environmental policies are complied with and housekeeping and company improvement activities are implemented;
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties within the capability of the jobholder, as requested by the immediate supervisor;
  • Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business & Operations Manuals.

Competencies

  • Core:
    • Current or recently lapsed UK MoD Chinook Pilot Rating; (e)
    • Current or recently lapsed UK MoD Aircrew Medical / CAA Class 1 Medical; (e)
    • Strong verbal communication and written skills; (e)

    • Able to use computers/computer systems; (e)
    • Self-motivated, and able to prioritise and manage own workload; (e)
