We supply premium plant hire products and solutions to a diverse customer base, underpinned by industry leading 'best in class customer service.' We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to further strengthen our logistics team and support our growing business. In this key role, reporting to the Hire Manager, you will be an important link with our customers and be 'the face' of our organisation. Above all, you'll have a great work ethic, be able to react to ever changing priorities and work with a minimum of supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering, collecting plant machinery to and from customers sites, ensuring customers sign relevant delivery and collection paperwork.
- Inspecting machinery upon collection, carefully recording any defects or missing items on our paperwork.
- Supporting general loading / unloading activity at our depot base.
- Tacho card management and administration within statutory guidelines.
Candidate Requirements:
- Full UK driving license with a maximum of 3 points.
- Full up to date CPC.
- Minimum of two years HGV experience.
- Safety conscious, organised and able to comply with QHSE processes.
- Experience of loading / unloading plant machinery (although training will be provided).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Hard working, reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Own transport is essential as you'll need to be within a sensible commute to our Depot in BR2 6AR.
Monday - Friday 6am-4pm
