We’re Standard Life, a retirement specialist focused entirely on retirement savings and income. We champion the belief that everyone’s journey to and through retirement can be better, and for more than 200 years, we’ve been helping our customers plan and prepare for their financial futures.

Life today is increasingly complicated, uncertain and unpredictable. People move through different careers, face unexpected moments and navigate important choices. We offer our colleagues flexibility, trust and benefits that work for whatever life brings. In return we expect curiosity, connection, accountability and high standards. We make room for what matters - so you can bring your best, every day.

The role

Do you enjoy turning complex regulatory and financial information into clear, customer-focused communications?

You will lead the delivery of one-off mandatory customer communications across regulatory change, strategic projects and business as usual activity. Working across multiple brands, you'll help ensure customers receive communications that are clear, compliant and support good outcomes.

You'll work with a wide range of stakeholders, including subject matter experts and outsourced service providers, to deliver high-quality communications while maintaining momentum across competing priorities. Along the way, you'll champion best practice, drive continuous improvement and help shape how mandatory communications are delivered across the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to influence customer experiences, contribute to major business change programmes and play a key role in maintaining high standards of communication across the organisation.

What we’re looking for

  • Practical experience of developing customer communications in a regulated financial services environment, ideally with pensions or investment experience
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to simplify complex information for customers
  • Experience building effective relationships and influencing stakeholders to achieve outcome
  • Customer-first mindset with a passion for clear, high-quality communications
  • Confidence challenging the status quo and identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

We want to hire the whole version of you.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If your experience looks different from what we’ve advertised and you believe that you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you.

If you require any adjustments to the recruitment process, please let us know so we can help you to be at your best.
