Location: Edinburgh or Birmingham Hybrid. 2 days per week in the office

The role
Join our Workplace Investment team at a pivotal time as we shape the future of our default investment proposition. This role will lead the delivery of key strategic initiatives surrounding our core default solution Sustainable Multi Asset (SMA) where both the approach to how we grow members assets and how we prepare them to be accessed. A key element of the role will be taking forward our approach to incorporate private assets within our investment proposition.
You will develop investment recommendations, coordinate governance approvals, oversee implementation planning, and work closely with Distribution, Asset Management, Investment Operations and Master Trust stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
The successful candidate will combine strong investment knowledge, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking to deliver complex proposition enhancements that support better long-term retirement outcomes for members.
What are we looking for?
- Lead the development and delivery of strategic investment proposition initiatives.
- Define the requirements for future strategic asset allocation reviews, supported by robust member, commercial and investment analysis.
- Drive governance activity through proposition development, business case creation, and approval forums.
- Coordinate implementation planning and stakeholder engagement across Distribution, Asset Management, Investment Operations, Master Trust, and Investment Communications.
- Shape and deliver the future investment proposition roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve member outcomes, enhance competitiveness and support long-term business growth.
