Responsibilities
- Execute the regional employment tax strategy across Europe & Americas
- Establish scalable governance and risk framework across multiple jurisdictions
- Ensure tax compliance, controls, governance and regulatory reporting
- Govern employment tax risk and act as senior SME influencing decisions
- Partner with HR, Reward, Payroll, Mobility and Group Tax
- Advise on restructurings, new market entries, and complex cross-border matters
- Engage with tax authorities including HMRC and manage audits
- Oversee UK compliance areas: PSA, P11D, SAO obligations
- Champion tax automation and process optimization
- Drive efficiency, controls, and employee experience; foster continuous improvement
- Build and develop a high-performing regional team; promote accountability and inclusion
- Drive consistency, discipline, and operational excellence across markets
Key requirements
- Strong employment tax expertise in the UK (expert level)
- Experience across Europe and/or Americas employment tax frameworks
- Proven ability to manage complex cross-border tax matters (benefits, expenses, mobility, employment status)
- Experience engaging with tax authorities and managing audits
