Job Summary

As Standard Chartered Bank continues to grow its Transaction Banking business in the UK & Europe region, we are looking for an Executive Director, TB FI Sales Cluster Head – UK & Turkey to join our team.
The successful individual will develop, refine, and execute the strategy for correspondent banking in the UK and Turkey. Key responsibilities include being aware of industry trends to build competitive strategies, ensuring the team adheres to regulatory and product selling guidelines, and driving business success in the correspondent banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a strategic coach to the entire team guiding them on winning strategies.
  • Ensure regional financial objectives is met.
  • Responsible for maintaining sustainable growth of revenue.
  • Revenue and sales monitoring for Cash and Trade from Bank clients (non correspondent banking revenue for corresponding banking covered clients/countries)
  • Lead regular pricing,reviews, including impact of waivers or non-standard pricing and implement appropriate local pricing at a product level.
  • Monitoring client onboarding, GICs and other FCC related work for correspondent banking covered clients/countries
  • Revenue monitoring and responsibility for non correspondent banking products for correspondent banking covered clients/countries
  • Manage non-correspondent banking clients in select countries (with low revenue from other FI segments)
  • Driving utilisation levels by monitoring transaction history.
  • Ensure adherence to all internal and externalregulations to embed compliance risk monitoring as anintegral part of the Business process for example quarterly reviews, e-learning, leave plans etc.
  • Ensure that the business meets its obligation vis-à-vis prevention of Money Laundering under group policy and standards and under the local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that clients are serviced promptly and quickly by the service team.
  • Ensure that the service team does reviews with clients to validate their service levels.

Qualifications

  • People management experience
  • Great stakeholder management and leadership skills
  • Extensive experience gained in thebanking industry in a leadership position
  • Fluency in English is a must
