Financing and Securities Services is one of our core businesses and we are one of the dominant players in the highly competitive and changing custody environment. Our proprietary securities services network today extends across 39 markets in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
- Working in conjunction with the lead sales team members and Client Relationship team in CIB, to support them in delivering revenue and activity targets for the client portfolio (based on client planning) and actively call on the client base, to ensure targeted realization rates are met & the client relationship strategies are implemented.
- To maintain ongoing contact with customers to ensure the targeted level of utilization of client facilities.
- To manage the transfer of best practices between markets, in order to leverage our capabilities with the client portfolio.
- In addition to supporting the sales and relationship team with the existing client base, the jobholder will also have responsibilities for securing new business across the entire suite of FSS products including Custody, FX, Prime, and Agency Securities Lending mandates from existing and new Bank and Broker Dealer (BBD) clients and realising business revenues for these mandates.
- This individual will also work closely with the Global FM team for the BBD segment and the Coverage team for BBD to achieve these goals.
- This individual will have knowledge of Securities Services, Financial Markets and Prime Services.
- The jobholder will formulate and execute sales strategies to drive sales success and business conversion, in collaboration with stakeholders such as the Global Head of Sales, Financing & Securities Services, Regional Head of Financing & Securities Services, USA, UK/ Europe, BBD sales – FM and FSS, Financing and Securities Services regional and country sales and relationship management teams, Product Management teams, counterparts in Financial Markets and Global Banking, and counterparts from any strategic partner / service provider.
- Parts of the sales process may have long lead times, frequently with gestation periods measured in years, therefore it is imperative that the jobholder possesses strong sales planning skills and holds a short, medium, and long-term view in driving client conversations.
- Sales proposals for large mandates may need to be highly tailored and can be technical in nature; given the intricacies and guidelines governing the products, the jobholder must possess strong industry expertise.
