Join our dynamic Middle Office team in Financial Markets (FM), where you’ll play a pivotal role in providing value-added support to Sales and Trading teams, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring effective risk management. As the conduit between Front Office and Operations, you’ll work across Macro, Credit, and Equity products, interacting with global stakeholders and clients to solve complex challenges and shape strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with Front Office, COO, and global teams to drive efficiency, enable new business, and deliver strategic FM initiatives.
- Process Management: Oversee trade capture, life-cycling, PnL flash runs, and query resolutions to mitigate risks and ensure operational readiness.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the local point of contact for Macro Trading and Sales Desks, building strong relationships across regions and functions.
- Continuous Improvement: Innovate processes, partner with Technology for transformation projects, and drive consistency across global operations.
- Risk Management: Ensure regulatory compliance, address audit findings, and foster a strong risk-aware culture within the Middle Office team.
Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in financial markets, product knowledge specifically to Rates derivatives and Structured Rates, and end-to-end trade execution workflows.
- Expertise in trade capture, life cycling, trade compressions, PnL explain, control processes.
- Strong risk and control mindset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.
- Exposure to Data analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx.
- Resilient, adaptable, and forward-thinking, with a focus on continuous learning and innovation.
- Strong team player.
Qualifications
- University degree preferred.
- Vast experience in financial markets, with a focus on Middle Office functions.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, technology tools (Murex, Bloomberg, Markitwire, TradeWeb, TriReduce), and FM products (FX, Rates, Credit, Commodities).
