Job Summary

The role holder will be a product specialist within Prime Services, focused on FX Prime Brokerage, Foreign Exchange Intermediation and core platform services within Financial Markets. The role is responsible for helping manage and develop a competitive Prime Services product suite that supports retention of the existing book of business, responds to market changes, creates new revenue opportunities and operates within a controlled and compliant environment. Core clients include hedge funds, broker-dealers and other bank clients who expect global, best-in-class products and services. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Technology, Operations, Client Coverage, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Credit and Finance to ensure the product offering remains commercially strong, operationally robust and aligned with client, market and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the global strategy for the Prime product suite, with focus on FXPB, Foreign Exchange Intermediation and core platform services.
  • Work with Sales and Product leadership to align product strategy with the broader Prime Services business strategy and growth agenda.
  • Help create an efficient, scalable and sustainable business model that supports current client needs while positioning the business for future growth.
  • Collaborate with regional and local Product teams to identify strategic market changes, share industry insights and ensure alignment across locations.
  • Monitor industry developments, market changes and competitor offerings to identify opportunities, threats and potential client impact.
  • Work with the Global Head of Prime Product and other product leads to deliver strategic priorities aligned with the global Prime Services growth agenda.
  • Partner with senior Prime Services stakeholders to ensure product activity supports positive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Markets Technology and Operations to design and implement scalable, automated and commercially viable operating models that can adapt to changing business and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain financial analysis of the Prime Services product suite to identify areas of strength, areas for improvement and tactical or strategic responses to evolving financial trends.
  • Periodically review products to ensure profitability requirements, competitiveness and expectations continue to be met.
  • Coordinate product activity across teams to minimise duplication, maximise reuse of solutions and support consistency across the global product suite.
  • Manage relationships with Risk, Credit, Compliance, Legal, Finance and other relevant functions as they impact the evolution of the Prime Services product suite.
  • Lead hands-on product and project delivery activity, including development of product and project plans and coordination across relevant teams.
  • Maintain strong connectivity with Sales, Technology and Operations teams to assess the performance, relevance and usefulness of product builds and solutions.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Product Management or a similar role, ideally within Prime Brokerage, Prime Services, Financial Markets, FX, Core Services or Client Experience.
  • Hands-on understanding of the Prime Brokerage operating model, client lifecycle and related market infrastructure, including operations, margining, clearing, settlement, billing and post-trade processes.
  • Practical experience delivering product, operating model or project initiatives, including developing product/project plans and working closely with Technology, Operations, Sales and control functions.
  • Strong commercial, analytical and client-focused mindset, with the ability to assess product performance, profitability, client impact and product viability.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, particularly Prime, with exposure to risk management infrastructure, risk systems, post-trade lifecycle tools and relevant regulatory requirements such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR and MiFID II.
  • Hands-on experience with Foreign Exchange Intermediation / FX Prime Brokerage would be advantageous.
