To fulfil the role of the Money Laundering Reporting Officer for the Standard Bank Isle of Man supervised persons, and to receive and consider internal SARs in accordance with internal reporting procedures in accordance with Part 7 of the IOM AML/CFT Code 2019.

Qualifications Experience Required: 5 - 7 years experience in Regulatory Services. The role requires an expert in Compliance with profound knowledge of the full dimensions of the field, but deep expertise in the relevant area of specialisation. Regulatory environment savvy, with the proven ability to influence all levels of employees across multiple countries and business areas to effectively implement compliance frameworks.

Key Outputs:

  • Maintain and enhance the AML/CFT/CPF framework, ensuring compliance with Isle of Man legislation, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice.
  • Provide reporting, oversight, and strategic guidance to Boards, Committees, and senior management.
  • Manage the end-to-end SAR process, fulfil statutory disclosure obligations, and act as custodian of the AML/CFT Business Risk Assessment, identifying and mitigating emerging financial crime risks.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulators, law enforcement agencies, external auditors, and industry bodies, responding to enquiries and representing the organisation in relevant forums and working groups.
  • Lead complex investigations, support regulatory inspections, advise business stakeholders on AML/CFT matters, and oversee the effectiveness of financial crime systems, controls, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Lead the MLRO function, oversee AML/CFT training and awareness programmes, develop team capability, and promote a strong culture of compliance across the organisation while fulfilling all regulatory responsibilities of the MLRO role.

Additional Information: Salary range GBP 85,000 to GBP 100,000.
