Credit Support is accountable for assisting credit managers in the day-to-day administration of their credit portfolio, through in-work collaboration with the credit managers.

Qualifications

  • First Degreein Business Commerce

Experience Required

  • 1-2 years experience in Credit Risk
  • General business or credit knowledge; ability to interact with financial statements.

Key Outputs

  • Support Credit Manager with daily excess management by investigating excesses and breaches, liaising with business stakeholders and escalating excesses and any breaches to Credit stakeholders for approval in line with the relevant policies.
  • Prepare file for audit and CRA and other governing committees as and when required.
  • Investigate the discrepancies on Reports with the Credit Manager and investigate all differences
  • Follow up on monthly reporting queries received from Finance, Capital and Business teams with regards to exceptions.

Filter these reports for the teams.

  • Investigate possible reasons for exceptions by looking at
  • Ensure that limits loaded on systems corresponds with relevant credit sanctions and legal documentation at all times.

Limit maintenance in the form of initiation of instructions for increases, switches etc as instructed by the relevant Credit Manager.

Identify and investigate any limit discrepancies by way of limit attestation exercised, and correct any differences.
