Job Description
NOTE: This role is not open to Relocation or Sponsorship. Only Jersey residents are eligible to apply.
To deliver efficient and compliant Treasury operations services, including Structured Products, Treasury Support and Funding activities in order to provide consistently high levels of customer service.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification: Secondary/High school/A levels/Matric
- Experience Required: 1 - 2 years experience in Operations. This is an entry level role and no experience is required.
Key Outputs
- Assist in the updating of portfolio analysis with monthly indices and exchange rates as well the approved recommendation lists on Bloomberg and master spreadsheets to ensure accurate reporting and management of the department.
- Ensure that all static data, account opening and closing, and all other associated maintenance is processed accurately and timeously and where there are discrepancies, elevate them urgently for investigation to ensure that records are always kept up to date and accurate.
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to Operations Management paying particular focus to processes that cross over functions, to improve the efficiency and quality of the services provided by the Operations team.
- Manage the processing of fixed term deposits for clients received via RM's or the Contact Centre ensuring that all relevant terms and client requests for post‑maturity are put in place.
- Process payments in line with the bank's guidelines and payment procedures and that all non‑payment related entries are recorded and processed and accurately verified to support the delivery of superior levels of client service.
