To proactively originate, assess, structure, and support the execution of structured product deals for Business and Commercial Banking clients within a market, while ensuring high-quality credit submissions and effective risk management. To deliver a seamless client credit experience and contribute to the structured debt product revenue growth and market penetration.
Minimum Qualification:
- First Degree in Business Commerce (Required)
- Post Graduate Degree in Business Commerce (Preferred)
Experience Required:
- 5 - 7 years experience in Business & Commercial Banking
- Experience in credit origination, commercial property lending, and corporate/business banking with demonstrated experience structuring property finance deals and conducting robust credit analysis.
- Experience partnering with Relationship Managers and influencing client outcomes.
- 3 - 4 years experience
- Exposure to offshore banking environment advantageous.
Key Outputs:
- Accompany the Relationship Managers (RMs) on client visits to identify credit needs early in the deal process to shape deal strategy upfront, accelerate origination, and enhance client value delivery.
- Apply strong credit analysis and structuring expertise to shape well-structured, risk-aligned proposals to improve deal feasibility, strengthen approval outcomes, and support asset growth.
- Originate and structure debt solutions in partnership with RMs and the relevant product heads to drive revenue growth, deepen client relationships, and strengthen the bank’s market position.
- Provide structured debt insights to shape client selection, credit appetite, and the development of client engagement strategies to ensure portfolio quality and strategic focus on high-value sectors and clients.
- Participate in the Business Assessment Committee, negotiations, and structuring discussions to guide viable deal design and support alignment with bank strategy and risk appetite.
