Responsibilities and duties:
- To record each component as it is supplied from Cycle 2 (internal repair/supply chain) in order to achieve the build start date per Order Task and communicate shortages to buyers in good time;
- Check parts for condition, accuracy to release certification and quantity validation.
- Collect and allocate completed internal cycle 2 WIP from inspection and move to the kitting areas.
- Repair split stillages post cycle 1 complete inspection by moving repairable assets from the stillages to relevant internal repair locations.
- Identify any discrepancies found on receipt of parts and raise NCIR’s accordingly;
- To carry out parts transfers as necessitated by late deliveries from Cycle 2 (internal repair);
- Communicate with product team leaders regarding kitting progress, discrepancies found, and adherence to the production schedule;
- Ensure the bonded kitting area is secured, and only accessed by approved personnel;
- Ensure parts are not removed from the bonded kitting area without record being made;
- Ensure parts are stored in a manner suitable for an EASA pt145 Aerospace MRO business, in line with Company standard practices;
- Cross skill in other logistics duties as required to ensure inventory points throughout supply chain are kept in control.
- Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals.
- Support/Own investigations related to stock management.

Desirable
- Ability to provide advice as a subject matter expert / technical experience on T56, TFE731 and or PW300 series engines.
- Lean or Continuous Improvement experience.
Functional:
Essential
- Familiarity with aerospace quality procedures and documentation including process documentation;
- Proficient in the use of computers, ERP systems and familiarity with Microsoft Office ;
- Experience in a stores/ warehouse environment.
- Practical experience of material control and handling within the aerospace industry;
Desirable
- Ability to use Navixa ERP system;
Organisational Relationships:
- Responsible individual who can interact with operations managers, operations team leaders, and technical staff directly.
- Role sits within Supply Chain team – Engines
Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:
Essential
- GCSE English, with good verbal and written English proficiency;
- Human Factors (provided for new starters)
Desirable
- Suitable industry qualification.
Experience:
Previous experience within an aerospace MRO environment, preferably from an inspection, materials, or stores background
