Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Managing your aircraft orderbook (purchase orders) as necessary, ensuring we’ve ordered the right parts, for the right time, in the correct quantities and necessary communications with our Tier 1 supplier regarding release.
- Manage escalated parts as priority to support operations as required.
- Facilitating the flow of materials between various internal and external departments to satisfy emergent and AOG needs.
- Managing and working with suppliers to ensure timely solutions or delivery of parts to achieve the aircraft production plan and/or target stock level requirements.
- Drive stakeholders to resolve parts quality issues/concerns.
- Effectively identify solutions for requirements within the adaptable Military Part 145 environment to achieve schedule targets and customer driven turn time challenges from the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
- Utilize ERP systems in order to manage parts allocation, master data, stock levels and tracking progress with our suppliers.
- Ensure daily routines are completed to achieve system data completeness.
Competencies and Experience:
- Experience of an equivalent role (e)
- Experience in a similar industry (d)
- Ability and experience of handling aircraft parts or similar (d)
- Good written, oral and telephone communication skills. (e)
- Familiarity with aerospace quality procedures and documentation including process documentation. (Training Provided) (d)
- Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel (e)
- Ability to manage priorities in a busy working environment (e)
