Key responsibilities and duties:
- A day to day operation and resourcing of the Technical Publications Library.
- Receipt and allocation of Tech Publications amendments.
- Occasional aiding of the business with regards to ‘print room’ activity and other adhoc tasks not requiring a QMS authorization from time to time.
- Use of the Navixa ERP system and OEM subscribed portals.
- Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals.
Competencies: (e = Essential / d = desirable)
- Core:
- Have an understanding of the principles of Airworthiness requirements (d).
- On Job Training will be available to address shortcomings of new starters.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (e).
- The ability to communicate effectively to both Internal and External customers/Suppliers. (e)
Organisational Relationships:
- Key interfaces with:
- Line Manager (Team Leader) of the Tech Library and co-workers within Tech Library.
- Close working relationship with Technical Support Engineering team to allow for a smooth document vetting process.
- Reports to Tech Library Team Leader and may report indirectly to the Engines Services Engineering Manager.
Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:
- GCSE Grade C (Modern Grade 4) or above in English (d).
Experience:
- Experience in a fast paced admin role (e).
- Experience in Aerospace industry (d).
