Standard 8 is partnered with a well-organised Public sector organisation looking to bring in an IT Support engineer on a part-time basis to support its on-site environment. This is a role for someone to provide 1st line support and ideally some 2nd line support. Day to day will be focused on handling helpdesk tickets, resolving first-line issues and supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange and Active Directory.
There’s a steady mix of hardware and user support; laptops, printers, account admin, installs and general upkeep. No surprises, just solid, hands-on IT work. They need someone who's had at least 1 years experience in IT support, service desk or technician background, comfortable managing workload, and able to deal with non-technical users without overcomplicating things.
