£700 - £750 pd | Hybrid | Contract | Inside IR35

At the sharp end of space exploration, this programme supports technology that genuinely leaves the planet. You’ll be working in an environment where precision, security and reliability aren’t nice-to-haves; they’re mission-critical. You’ll be contributing to work that sits alongside collaborations with SpaceX, NASA, and other leading players across the global space sector. In short, the systems you help secure won’t just support a business. They’ll support missions, spacecraft, satellites and infrastructure that operate far beyond our little blue planet.

You’ll be stepping into a live S/4HANA Public Cloud programme. You’ll understand how security and identity actually work across the platform. Not just maintaining roles, but shaping the model, tightening controls, and making sure access aligns with how the business really operates - not how someone thinks it should.

Day to day:

  • Designing and refining SAP roles and authorisations that actually make sense
  • Running SoD analysis without turning it into a bureaucratic nightmare
  • Building clean, usable provisioning processes
  • Translating business activity into solid, workable security design
  • Getting hands-on in a live S/4HANA environment and improving what’s already there
  • Spotting weaknesses and fixing them before they become problems

What you’ll need:

  • Strong SAP Security & Authorisations background
  • Solid S/4HANA experience (Public Cloud helps, but not essential)
  • A track record of designing roles and access models properly
  • Good grasp of Segregation of Duties and governance — with a practical mindset
  • Comfortable dealing with stakeholders who don’t speak “SAP”
  • Someone who takes ownership and follows things through

Useful extras (not deal-breakers):

  • SAP Fiori or HANA security exposure
  • Experience with SAP GRC / Access Control
  • Background in transformation or implementation programmes

Why this one stands out:

You’re not inheriting a mess of legacy decisions you can’t change. You’ll have the space to do things properly and the backing to make it stick. It’s a live programme, still evolving, where your input has a direct impact on how security is shaped going forward. And yes - the work feeds into something a bit more interesting than another finance system rollout.
