Ever tried fixing a Proclaim workflow and wondered if the person who built it had a grudge against humanity? Good. You’ll fit right in here. We’re working with a long-established professional services client with a serious reputation and a surprisingly tech-minded outlook. Their Proclaim system is the beating heart of their operation, and they need someone who can keep it running smoothly, tweak it intelligently, and occasionally perform a bit of life-saving surgery when things go sideways. You’ll join a small, capable IT team where everyone actually talks to each other. The focus is on making the case management system work better for the people who use it, not just ticking off dev tasks because they’re on a list.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and maintaining the Proclaim system: workflows, templates, reports, the lot.
- Working directly with users and managers to translate their “can we just…” requests into workable, logical solutions.
- Testing, releasing, and supporting system changes (with minimal chaos).
- Occasionally liaising with third-party suppliers and supporting live issues until they’re resolved.
- Keeping Proclaim up to date with patches and upgrades — you’ll know the drill.
What you’ll need
- Experience with Eclipse Proclaim (or another case management system if you’re a quick learner).
- Can work with workflows, linked actions, and database management.
- Clear communicator who can explain tech in human terms.
Why this one’s worth a look
- You’ll actually get listened to.
- You’ll have autonomy to improve things rather than just maintain them.
- Hybrid setup with a nice fair mix of office and home working.
- A supportive team that values ideas over hierarchy.
If you’ve ever looked at a Proclaim workflow and thought “I could make that better,” then you probably should. Drop us a line at Standard 8 - we’ll tell you the rest.
