Standard 8 is recruiting a Paid Social Executive & Content Creator for an established financial services business with offices across the UK. They’re putting more money into paid social and need somebody who can handle both halves of the job.

The job involves:

  • Creating and running ads
  • Analysing ad performance to determine profitability
  • Building campaigns, managing audiences and budgets, setting up lead forms
  • Filming and editing short-form video, creating static ads, and producing organic content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • Keeping fresh creative going into the account

There’s already somebody looking after paid search, so you won’t suddenly discover that “Paid Social Executive” also means PPC, SEO, email marketing, website management, and fixing the office printer.

The numbers matter. The business tracks what happens after somebody fills in a form, allowing you to see which campaigns are producing genuine commercial opportunities. You’ll provide a straightforward monthly view of performance, spend, and creative.

What you’ll need:

  • Short-form video you’ve personally filmed and edited
  • Hands-on experience running Meta lead-generation campaigns
  • Experience with £8k+ monthly paid social budgets
  • Comfortable producing both video and static creative using tools like Premiere Pro or Canva
  • Understanding of testing, optimisation, and performance data
  • Clear and accurate writing skills
  • Experience with TikTok Ads or LinkedIn Ads (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Meta Pixel, Conversions API, attribution, and lead-form integrations (even better)
  • Experience in a regulated business (helpful)

This isn’t a content job where somebody else worries about performance, nor is it a performance job where somebody drops a folder of finished creative onto your desk every Monday morning. They need somebody who can create, launch, test, learn, and improve. If you’re good at making paid social look good and making the numbers stack up, Standard 8 would like to hear from you.
