My client is a well-established, privately owned specialist Civil Engineering contractor that has undergone a successful growth period and has become a leading player in the market. To continue this growth, they are looking to appoint a Managing Director to spearhead growth with new areas of existing clients in the region bounded by the M23, M4, M25 and the South Coast.
The successful applicant will work closely with the existing Directors and Senior Management Team to put together and deliver the strategic plan for the new region. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, they will focus on work winning within profit and revenue boundaries and take ultimate responsibility for P&L and the timely delivery of packages.
Initially, the region’s growth will be supported through shared services and senior management support from the existing areas. Still, as time progresses, the successful candidate will appoint a leadership team to cement their position as the region’s most in-demand provider of their services.
The client is looking to attract the best candidates, and to this end, they are open to negotiating the package necessary to attract them. This is an exceptional opportunity with a truly impressive business. If you have experience working within a leadership role (either primary or secondary) within a specialist civil business, then it is likely that you will have the practical skills to fulfil the role.
If you have the drive and desire to build and lead a sector-leading player, I would be keen to talk with you and share the compelling story of what is on offer.
This is an excellent opportunity for an expanding business. Please apply below, contact me through LinkedIn (DMs are open), or email any questions you may have.
