We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join a fast-paced, global shipping and maritime services company specialising in commercial management, fuel procurement, and digital market intelligence. About the Role:

As a Commercial Analyst, you will support commercial and operational teams by providing key market insights, analysing vessel performance, and assisting in strategic decision-making. The role involves working closely with senior management, developing forecasts, and helping to improve internal reporting systems. It is imperative that you are an analytically-minded individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyse vessel performance and profitability.

  • Work closely with teams across the business to resolve queries.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external use.
  • Gain hands-on experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, and Business Intelligence software.

Requirements:

Education & Experience: A 2:1 degree with strong analytical components OR Minimum 1 year of experience in an analytical or shipping-related role.

Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Experience with Power BI, SQL, or Python is a preference but not essential.
