Your Role: We’re looking for a detail-focused QA Officer to join our Food Solutions team at the Grantham Processing Plant. Reporting to the Food Solutions QA Coordinator, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across our high-care, high-risk processing areas. This role contributes directly to faster issue resolution, improved product consistency, and enhanced audit readiness.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily QA monitoring and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform internal audits, equipment calibration, and verification activities.
  • Monitor CCPs, including high-risk cook/chill programs, water activity tests, and Positive Release protocols.
  • Conduct environmental swabbing, lab sample collection, and support customer complaint investigations.
  • Raise and follow up non-conformances and maintenance requests.
  • Review supplier and ingredient certificates and assist with product specification updates.
  • Support cleaning schedules, GMP compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Help build HACCP and quality plans for new product development projects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous QA experience in further processing or FMCG (3+ years preferred).
  • High care/high risk processing experience, with strong CCP monitoring and data analysis skills.
  • HACCP certification and familiarity with GFSI standards.
  • Experience with internal audits and electronic QA documentation systems (iLeader or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and data interpretation skills.
  • Competent in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Understanding of EMP, lab, and hygiene programs is desirable.
