About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at our Grantham processing facility. Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering strategic and capital projects across the site β from initial concept through to final commissioning. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor or tradesperson looking to transition into a dedicated project coordination role within a dynamic food manufacturing environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager in the end-to-end coordination and delivery of strategic and capital projects across the site, from concept through to final commissioning.
- Plan, organise, and manage resources, timelines, and procedures to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop capital works applications and project business cases for senior management approval, including detailed scope documents, cost-benefit analyses, milestones, and KPIs.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between operational departments to ensure all project deliverables are fit for purpose and aligned with business objectives.
- Liaise with managers and contractors to coordinate labour and trade requirements, ensuring seamless project delivery and completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed work plans, schedules, resource plans, and status reports, while conducting ongoing risk analysis and tracking progress against milestones and budgets.
- Manage contractor performance and compliance, ensuring all site safety procedures are adhered to and installation schedules are met.
- Identify and champion innovative ideas for continuous environmental improvement and energy efficiency, including scoping associated costs and requirements.
- Provide hands-on support when required, assisting with or overseeing the installation and commissioning of equipment on site.

- Demonstrated experience in project management or continuous improvement within a food manufacturing or comparable industrial environment.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and engage people at all levels, with a track record of building positive and productive working relationships.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and project updates clearly and confidently to stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Competent in drafting basic AutoCAD drawings for concept designs and site layout planning.
