We’re seeking a Maintenance IT Officer to join our team, supporting IT operations across the business (onsite & field support). This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys being on the tools, troubleshooting issues, and working in a fast-paced, operational environment.

About Us: Stanbroke is a reputable family-owned and operated Australian cattle and beef business. Our operations span Northern Queensland with extensive cattle properties, backgrounding operations in Southern Queensland, state-of-the-art feedlots, a fully accredited beef processing facility, and global marketing capabilities. We produce a full range of Grain and Grass-fed beef categories and export to over 40 countries worldwide.

Your Role: Working closely with internal teams across multiple sites, you’ll provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support, maintain critical infrastructure, and ensure day-to-day technology systems operate reliably. No two days are the same, and you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations connected and running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 onsite and remote IT support across the business
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and resolve hardware and device issues
  • Install, maintain and support IT infrastructure including CCTV, cabling and phone systems
  • Deploy and configure user devices, accounts and system access
  • Support business applications, reporting and operational labelling systems
  • Manage service requests and incidents through the ticketing system

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a hands-on IT support, maintenance, or service desk role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, networking, and software
  • Experience supporting Windows environments and business applications
  • Comfortable working independently across sites and responding to operational needs
  • Well organised, with strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • A practical, proactive approach with a strong customer service mindset
  • Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
