Your Role: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Loadout Warehouse Supervisor to lead our loadout operations at our Grantham processing facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant dispatch of our beef products to both domestic and international markets. You will oversee a dedicated team of around 60 staff, ensuring all loadout activities are carried out in accordance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily loadout operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all shifts.
- Lead, coach, and support a team of loadout operators to meet production and safety targets.
- Ensure all products are correctly labelled, marked, and dispatched in compliance with domestic and export requirements.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety obligations, including the consistent application of PPE standards.
- Oversee adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance procedures throughout the loadout department.
- Liaise with internal departments including QA, processing operations, and transport to ensure seamless product flow.
- Monitor and manage loadout documentation, records, and reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the loadout function.
- Manage and resolve operational discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
What we’re looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within a meat processing, cold storage, or warehousing environment.
- Strong documentation and data management skills.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and WHS/OH&S compliance requirements.
- Experience working within export-focused operations and familiarity with domestic and international product marking and labelling.
- Current forklift licence (desirable).
- Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
