Your Role: Are you an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Driver looking to join a fast-paced meat processing facility? This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and eager to be part of a vertically integrated beef/cattle business.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in production and cold storage areas
- Load and unload trucks in accordance with site procedures
- Move pallets of boxed meat and raw materials between departments
- Perform pre-start safety checks and basic forklift maintenance
- Accurately complete inventory and dispatch documentation
- Follow all workplace health & safety and food safety requirements
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Who We're Looking For:
- Current LF Forklift License (essential)
- Previous experience in a meatworks or food processing environment (highly regarded)
- Ability to work in refrigerated conditions
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
- Good communication skills
- You must be legally eligible to work in Australia
