Are you an experienced Food Technology Manager with a passion for innovation and quality? We're looking for a skilled and commercially minded professional to lead our food technology function at our Grantham processing plant.

Our operations span across Northern Queensland, with extensive cattle properties, backgrounding operations in Southern Queensland, state-of-the-art cattle feedlots, a fully accredited beef processing facility and global marketing capabilities. The Role: Ready to bring your expertise to a fast-paced, high-impact role? As a Food Technology Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving product and process innovation across our value-add programs and leading food technology in our business. You'll have expertise in food technology, stakeholder confidence, and a passion for delivering high-quality, innovative fresh food products.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development, implementation and oversight of food technology programs and processes
- Work closely with government agencies, customer technical teams and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and innovation
- Support the commercialisation of fresh products through sound technical and QA knowledge
- Drive improvements in food safety, processing efficiency, and product quality
- Provide technical support across production, including micro testing, shelf-life, and labelling compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and process improvement initiatives
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in food technology, ideally with fresh meat or produce
- Technical background with strong understanding of food processing and manufacturing systems
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and industry standards
- Proven ability to implement processes and manage projects from concept to commercialisation
- QA experience (including micro testing), and exposure to production environments
- Strong senior stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A hands-on and solutions-focused mindset
