An opportunity has arisen for you to join the Stan Robinson team working at Stafford.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm (with flexibility to work overtime when required).
Reporting to the shift manager, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate handling of goods passing through the warehouse onto the vehicles using a reach and counterbalance fork lift truck, and ensuring high quality, accuracy, and service levels are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a Reach and Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck
- Load and unload vehicles safely, avoiding damage to personnel, stock and equipment.
- Receive and put away stock received from manufacturing sites and/or third parties.
- Carry out daily stock checks, as required.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Supervisor and colleagues.
- Carry out pre-start checks on material handling equipment.
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance is met.
Qualifications and experience:
- Reach and Counterbalance fork lift licence
- Proven experience of working in a warehouse environment.
