We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 2 Driver to join the Stan Robinson team. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all transport regulations. Circa 50 hours per week. Overtime rates paid after 40 hrs per week. Nights out as required, which attracts an additional paid allowance - No weekends. Newly qualified drivers are invited to apply.
Duties
- Multi drop deliveries to various locations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods, securing loads appropriately.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate documentation as required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with planners and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Class 2 licence
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
- A commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety on the road.
- An ADR qualification would be an advantage, but not essential - Full training can be provided.
