We're looking for a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team at GESIPA inKeighley, Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, takes pride in producing high-quality products, and is keen to develop their technical skills.
More important than specific industry experience is the right attitude.
You'll be someone who:
- Has a strong mechanical aptitude and enjoys working with machinery
- Is naturally curious and enjoys learning new processes and skills
- Likes solving problems and figuring out how things work
- Takes pride in producing quality work
- Has a keen eye for detail
- Can work independently while also contributing to a team
- Is flexible and willing to work rotating shift patterns, including nights
- Communicates effectively and takes ownership of their work
Experience that would be beneficial
- Previous manufacturing or production experience
- Experience setting or operating machinery
- Understanding of engineering or production drawings
- Experience in cold forming or similar manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with measuring equipment and quality checks
